BIO ANASTASIA

I am a research associate and doctoral student at the Chair of Strategic Management and Innovation and at the KOF Swiss Economic Institute at ETH Zürich. My research focuses on combining insights and methods from both economics and management to study the different factors influencing innovation, notably in the pharmaceutical sector.

I hold a master’s degree in Quantitative Economic Analysis from the Université Paris-Dauphine and a bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, as well as a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Public Policy from Sciences Po Paris.

Prior to joining ETH as a doctoral student, I gained industry and policy experience in various sectors, working on digital innovation from the policy perspective at the French think tank external page l’Institut Montaigne, as an economic and financial consultant in Paris, and as a health data analyst at the French Court of Auditors (Cour des Comptes).

I also worked as a scientific trainee in the Digital Economy Unity at the European Commission’s external page Joint Research Center in Ispra, Italy, where I mapped digital and industrial transformation across key innovative and policy relevant sectors such as AI, 5G, and quantum technologies.
